Welcome in. As you can probably see, I've been toying around with HTML. For now, I'll be using Neocities because it's free. Can't beat free.
Now about me. You can call me Tex. I do computer upgrades for people amungst other things. This website will serve as my public log of what I do. There are a few projects I'm working on in the background, but they'll get their spotlight eventually. The most recent however has been on of my most wild so far.
To build a water cooler for a pc requires 3 main components:
I made the radiator out of a copper pipe that I bent into a coil. The pump was just a submersable pond pump. The hardest part was the water block. It was made from an old copper plate and pipe welded together with some fittings soldered to the side and top.
The last step was to just trim the plate down some and scew it onto an old motherboard. The only leaks found were loose bolts around the radiator. Sadly as I'm writing this in a northern winter, it is currently too cold to run this system in my garage so further updates will have to wait.
Welp.
That's all for Entry 1
